Tip: We like vibrant, fruity coffee beans for a flavour that shines even when softened by ice.

WHAT YOU NEED

15g coffee (medium grind)
130g water
70g of ice
Hario Switch & paper filters
Gram scale
Timer
Kettle
Grinder

RECIPE

1. Measure & Grind
Begin by measuring 15g of coffee beans. Grind them to a medium consistency.

2. Heat Water & Rinse Filter
Heat your water to 93°C. Place a filter in the Switch and pre-rinse it with hot water, then discard the rinse water.

3. Add Water & Coffee
First pour 130g of hot water into the Switch then transfer in the ground coffee. Adding the water helps the draw down of the filter and prevents clogging.

4. Steep
Start your timer and steep the mixture for 4 minutes.

5. Drain over Ice
After the steep time, allow the coffee to fully drain over 70g of ice into your serving vessel.

6. Remove & Enjoy
Once fully drained, remove the dripper, give your server a swirl, pour the coffee into a cup, and savour your delicious iced coffee!
